Pope Furniture is an Icon in Dillon, S.C. It was established in 1950 by William Pope Sr. He and his wife ran the store solely until their 2 sons William Jr. and Bob graduated from college and returned home. Both of them worked hard to satisfy their dad, even after their dad's death. But in the early eighties, my uncle decided to take a new path and my dad bought his part out.
My dad operated the store until I graduated from college in 1989. My dad and his devout employees taught me everything I know about running this store. The Pope Family is so lucky to have had dedicated and hard working employees for all these years. Also the community and all of our customers are what kept this store prosperous then and now. While corporate america is about to hurt the little man( small mom and pop store's) Pope Furniture is still hanging on. We sell quality furniture and appliances. We offer free delivery in a 60 mile radius with free setup and take off your old. We offer lay a way and terms. Once a customer here at Pope's, you are family to us now and always.
